For Microsoft Internet Explorer

First, be sure that The Rim's index page is the webpage displayed on your browser.

Then click on "View" at the top of your screen, in the toolbar.

A "popup menu" will be displayed, and at the bottom, click on "Internet Options". Internet Options will display the dialog box shown below. Be sure the "General" tab is shown, and in the top section, Home page, you can either type in http://www.therim.com, or simply click the button marked "Use Current".

Click "Apply" to set White Mountains Online as your new homepage, and click "OK" to close this dialog box. You're all done! After visiting other websites, if you want to return to your homepage, just click the button in your toolbar that looks like a little house... that's the Home Page button for your browser, and it will return you to the page you have set as your Home Page.

For Netscape

First, be sure that The Rim's index page is the webpage displayed on your browser.

Then click on "Edit" at the top of your screen, in the toolbar.

A "popup menu" will be displayed, and at the bottom, click on "Preferences". Preferences will display the dialog box shown below.

Where it says, "Navigator starts with", check to be sure Home page is selected. Then either type in http://www.therim.com in the Location field, or click the button marked "Use Current Page". Click "OK", and you're done!
